Acera 20 Capsule is a member of the class of antiulcer medications known as proton pump inhibitors, which are used to treat duodenal ulcers, heartburn, erosive oesophagitis (damage to the lining of the oesophagus caused by acid reflux), infections caused by Helicobacter pylori when given in conjunction with an antibiotic, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Acera 20 Capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have Acera 20 Capsule empty stomach.

How it works-

Acera 20 Capsule works by inhibiting the function of the enzyme known as the stomach proton pump, which is responsible for acid generation. This reduces the amount of acid generated, heals ulcers, and prevents new ulcers from forming.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Acera 20 Capsule is probably not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Acera 20 Capsule. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is recommended to use Acera 20 Capsule with caution when drinking alcohol. Please consult your physician.

Driving

Acera 20 Capsule may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

It is safe for people with kidney disease to take Acera 20 Capsule. You don't need to change your dose.

Liver

It is safe for people with liver disease to take Acera 20 Capsule. You don't need to change your dose.
