Advastat CV 20 Capsule is used to decrease lipid or cholesterol levels in the blood, in conjunction with a low-fat diet and lifestyle adjustments. Advastat CV 20 Capsule is also used to lower the chance of blood clot formation, hence reducing heart attacks and stroke . Advastat CV 20 Capsule is a combination medication that contains the active components clopidogrel and rosuvastatin.

Usage instructions-

• It is recommended that you take Advastat CV 20 Capsule at the dose and duration that your doctor tells you to take it.  You can have this drug with food or without.

How it works-

Advastat CV 20 Capsule is a medication that combines two medications, Rosuvastatin and Clopidogrel, to prevent heart attacks and strokes. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering drug that inhibits the body's capacity to reduce "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while increasing "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is an anti-platelet agent. It keeps platelets from adhering together and reduces the creation of dangerous blood clots.

Pregnancy

Using Advastat CV 20 Capsule during pregnancy is extremely dangerous. Seek the counsel of your doctor, as research on pregnant women and animals have revealed considerable risk to the growing infant.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Advastat CV 20 Capsule. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Advastat CV 20 Capsule.

Driving

Advastat CV 20 Capsule does not affect your drive.

Kidney

Advastat CV 20 Capsule should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
