- Side effects
Advastat F 160Mg/10Mg Tablet is a lipid-lowering medication that is used to treat high levels of total cholesterol (TC) and triglycerides (TG). This reduces the risk of future cardiovascular attack such as heart attack, stroke, and heart-related chest discomfort (angina). The heart becomes blocked owing to an increase in bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein -LDL and triglycerides - TG), which causes a build-up of fat, cholesterol, and other waxy substances layers creating a plaque in the lining of the arteries wall (coronary arteries). This raises a person's chances of developing a blood clot and having a heart attack.

How it works-

Advastat F 160Mg/10Mg Tablet is a combination of two medications that function by decreasing the amount of "bad" cholesterol (LDL) in your blood and increasing the amount of "good" cholesterol (HDL). Lowering your cholesterol levels reduces your risk of heart disease and helps you to live a healthier life for a longer period of time. High cholesterol can lead to atherosclerosis, a narrowing of the arteries in the body, which can increase the risk of stroke and heart disease.
