Astin CV 10 Capsule is a combination medicine made up of a blood-thinning agent and a cholesterol-lowering agent that is primarily used to prevent future heart attacks and strokes. It decreases our bodies' elevated levels of cholesterol and lipids (triglycerides). A heart attack happens when the coronary arteries (blood vessels that provide blood and oxygen to the heart) become clogged owing to the accumulation of fats (plaque), especially cholesterol. These plaques restrict the arteries, causing atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease, which are the primary causes of most heart attacks.

How it works-

Astin CV 10 Capsule is a combination of two medications, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel that prevent heart attacks and strokes. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering drug that inhibits an enzyme that the body needs to produce cholesterol. It decreases "bad" cholesterol (LDL), and triglycerides, and increases "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet drug that inhibits platelets from adhering together and reduces the formation of dangerous blood clots.
