• It is recommended that you take Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER at the dose and duration that your doctor tells you to take it. You can have this drug with food.

How it works-

Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER contains two diabetes medications: Dapagliflozin and Metformin. Dapagliflozin acts by excreting excess sugar (glucose) in the urine. Metformin works by decreasing sugar synthesis in the liver, slowing glucose absorption from the intestines, and boosting insulin sensitivity. They work together to improve blood sugar management.

Pregnancy

Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby.  Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is unsafe to take alcohol with Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER.

Driving

If you have too high or too low blood sugar, it could affect your ability to drive. If you experience these symptoms, don't drive.

Kidney

Dexiglu M 5 Tablet ER should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
