Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are unable to control their sugar level with diet and exercise can be treated with Ecoglip TM Tablet SR, an anti-diabetic medication. Ecoglip TM Tablet SR is a mixture of Metformin and Teneligliptin. When these medications are used together, blood sugar is lowered by decreasing the hormone that raises blood sugar, increasing the amount of insulin that the pancreas releases, decreasing the quantity of glucose produced in the liver, and delaying the absorption of glucose from the intestines.

How it works-
Ecoglip TM Tablet SR combines two diabetes medications: Metformin and Teneligliptin. One class of diabetic medication called a biguanide is Metformin. It functions by reducing the liver's production of glucose, reducing the intestinal absorption of glucose, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor that works by decreasing hormones that raise blood sugar levels and increasing pancreatic insulin release. This reduces postmeal glucose levels and fasting. Together, they enhance blood sugar control.
