Esomeprazole, an ingredient in the Esolembic tablet and a member of the proton pump inhibitor drug class, is present. It is used to treat adults and adolescents over the age of 12 who have gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and heartburn. When non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) are used to treat adults and adolescents older than 12 who have stomach ulcers or the upper section of the intestine (gut) infected with Helicobacter pylori bacteria, Esolembic Tablet also helps. Additionally, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, which is characterised by an enlarged pancreas and excessive stomach acid production, is treated with it.

How it works-

Proton pump inhibitors like Esolembic Tablet prevent the release of gastric acid by specifically blocking enzymes in the stomach cells. As a result, it helps to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn while reducing stomach acidity by preventing the last stage of acid formation.
