Olfi Pod Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs (pneumonia), sinuses (sinusitis), bladder (cystitis), ear infections, and other areas. Bacterial infections are caused by the growth of dangerous bacteria within or on the body. The Olfi Pod Tablet does not function against viral illnesses such as colds and flu. Using antibiotic when they aren't needed might cause them to stop working (generate antibiotic resistance) in the future.

Usage instructions-

• The dose and duration of Olfi Pod Tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor. You can have Olfi Pod Tablet with meals or without.

How it works-

Olfi Pod Tablet contains a mixture of two antibiotics, Ofloxacin and Cefpodoxime. Ofloxacin inhibits DNA gyrase, which is necessary for the replication, transcription, and repair of DNA. Cefpodoxime inhibits protein synthesis, causing cell death and thereby killing the bacterium. Olfi Pod Tablet works together to treat bacterial infections.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Olfi Pod Tablet should be avoided during pregnancy. Although there have been few human research, animal studies have revealed some consequences on the growing baby. Please consult your physician.

Breastfeeding

It is probably not safe to breastfeed while taking Olfi Pod Tablet. There is limited human data suggesting that the drug may enter breast milk and cause harm to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not safe to consume alcohol with Olfi Pod Tablet.

Driving

Olfi Pod Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Olfi Pod Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Olfi Pod Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
