Orofer FCM 1K Injection is an anti-anaemic drug used to treat iron deficient anemia in individuals who are intolerant to oral iron preparations, have chronic kidney disease that does not require dialysis, or require a rapid build-up of iron reserves. Iron deficiency anemia (a shortage of red blood cells caused by a lack of iron in the body) is a disorder in which the body lacks enough red blood cells to carry appropriate oxygen to various bodily tissues.
Usage instructions-
- Orofer FCM 1K Injection will be given to you by your doctor or nurse. Kindly don't give it to yourself.
How it works-
Orofer FCM 1K Injection includes iron (III) hydroxide complexed with carboxymaltose, a carbohydrate polymer capable of releasing iron. The iron released by the complex aids in haemoglobin production and raises red blood cell count. As a result, Orofer FCM 1K Injection is used to treat iron deficient anemia.
Safety information-
Pregnancy
Orofer FCM 1K Injection is maybe not safe to use in pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.
Breastfeeding

Alcohol
