Phytoral Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called antifungals indicated to treat various systemic fungal infections such as blastomycosis (infection caused by Blastomyces fungus), chromomycosis (chronic infection of the skin and subcutaneous tissue), Coccidioidomycosis (infection caused by Coccidioides fungus), paracoccidioidomycosis (infection caused by Paracoccidioides fungus) and histoplasmosis (lung infection caused by Histoplasma fungus).

Usage instructions-

• Use the Phytoral Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food, you can take the Phytoral Tablet.

How it works-

Phytoral Tablet acts by inhibiting the creation of ergosterol (a critical component of the fungal cell membrane), reducing its structure and function.

Safety information-

Pregnancy

Phytoral Tablet is probably not safe to use during pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

It is safe to breastfeed with a Phytoral Tablet. According to human studies, the drug does not enter the breast milk in large amounts and is not harmful to the baby.

Alcohol

It is not safe to take alcohol with Phytoral Tablet.

Driving

Phytoral Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Phytoral Tablet is safe for kidney patients. Dose adjustment is not required. Please consult your doctor for more details.

Liver

Phytoral Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with liver disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
