Revostat Gold 10 Capsule is an antihyperlipidemic and antiplatelet class of drug that is used to treat heart attacks, myocardial infarctions (blockage of blood flow to the heart's muscles), angina, and strokes. A heart attack occurs when the blood supply to the heart is obstructed. The obstruction is usually caused by a buildup of cholesterol, fat, and other substances in the arteries that supply the heart, resulting in a plaque (semi-hard deposit of material from fluid). A plaque can rupture, generating a clot that prevents blood flow. Heart attack symptoms include chest discomfort, chest tightness, and pain in the neck, arm, or back.

How it works-

Revostat Gold 10 Capsule is a fixed-dose combination of three medications: Rosuvastatin, Clopidogrel, and Aspirin. Rosuvastatin is an antihyperlipidemic medication. Rosuvastatin reduces the amount of lipids. It prevents the body from producing bad cholesterol while increasing the body's ability to manufacture good cholesterol. Clopidogrel and aspirin are both antiplatelet medicines. They function by keeping blood from sticking together and reducing the formation of clots, which are detrimental to the body. Overall, Revostat Gold 10 Capsule helps to minimize the risk of heart attack, stroke, and heart-related chest discomfort (angina).

Driving
