Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan, which are both part of the antihistamine and antitussive drug classes, are combined to make Rexcof DX Syrup. It is used to treat dry cough, allergic cough, post-operative cough, smokers cough, and nighttime cough. It also treats sneezing and running nostrils brought on by colds. It is also used to treat upper respiratory allergens like hay fever, which cause symptoms like runny nostrils, itchy, watery eyes, and throat itching.

How it works-
The Rexcof DX Syrup Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that works by blocking the histamine H1 receptor to stop the release of histamine, which is what causes the symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that stops coughing by acting on the cough centre in the brain. Rexcof DX Syrup helps treat cough. Together, they successfully relieve cough.
