Tendia M Tablet SR contains two drugs that control high blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, preventing serious complications of diabetes including kidney damage and blindness. It may also reduce your chances of having a heart attack or stroke.
Your doctor may prescribe Tendia M Tablet SR alone or along with other diabetes medicines. It is recommended to take Tendia M Tablet SR with food to avoid an upset stomach.
The common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, headache, upset stomach, and sore throat. You may also notice low blood sugar levels if you are also using other diabetes medicines such as insulin or sulfonylurea.
Inform your doctor if you ever had liver, kidney, or heart disease, problems with your pancreas, or if you drink a lot of alcohol before taking this medicine. It is recommended to consult a doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drink alcohol as it lowers blood glucose. Your doctor may check your blood sugar levels and kidney function before and during treatment.

How It Works
Tendia M Tablet SR contains two antidiabetic drugs, including metformin and teneligliptin. Metformin is an antidiabetic drug that works by decreasing the production of glucose in the liver. It delays the absorption of glucose from the intestines and increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor that lowers blood sugar-raising hormones while also increasing insulin release from the pancreas. This lowers blood sugar levels both after meals and while fasting. They provide better blood sugar regulation when used collectively.

DRIVING
It is unknown whether Tendia M Tablet SR changes the driving ability. Avoid driving if you experience any symptoms affecting your ability to concentrate and react.
PREGNANCY
Tendia M Tablet SR may not be safe to use during pregnancy. This drug may cause harmful effects on the unborn baby.
BREASTFEEDING
Tendia M Tablet SR is not safe to use during breastfeeding. The drug might harm the infant if it gets into the breast milk.
