Torsinex Plus Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Spironolactone and Torsemide from the Diuretics class of medications. Torsinex Plus Tablet is used to treat fluid buildup (edema) in the body caused by severe liver, kidney, or cardiac disease. Torsinex Plus Tablet can also be used to treat hyperaldosteronism (excess aldosterone secretion in the body) and resistant hypertension (high blood pressure that does not respond to other medications).

• Use the Torsinex Plus Tablet as directed by your doctor’s instructions. With food, you can take a Torsinex Plus Tablet.

How it works-

Torsinex Plus Tablet is a combination of two medications: Spironolactone and Torasemide. These medications work on several sections of your kidney to eliminate excess water and electrolytes while preserving your body's potassium balance.

Pregnancy

Torsinex Plus Tablet is probably not safe to use during pregnancy. There are limited human studies, but animal studies have shown adverse effects on the developing baby. Consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding

Torsinex Plus Tablet is probably safe to breastfeed. Limited human data suggests that the drug causes no risk to the baby. Please consult your doctor.

Alcohol

It is not safe to take alcohol with a Torsinex Plus Tablet.

Driving

Torsinex Plus Tablet may impair your alertness, impair your eyesight, or make you drowsy and dizzy. If you have any of these symptoms, do not drive.

Kidney

Torsinex Plus Tablet should be administered with caution to patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustments may be necessary. Please consult your doctor.
