A chronic or lifelong illness known as type 2 diabetes mellitus causes abnormally high blood sugar or glucose levels. It occurs when the body cannot fully use any insulin that is produced or when there is not enough insulin for the body to efficiently metabolise glucose.
Usage instructions-
- It is recommended that you take Triglimisave 1 HS Plus Tablet SR at the dose and duration that your doctor tells you to take it. You can have this drug with food.
How it works-
Glimepiride, Metformin, and Pioglitazone are the three anti-diabetic drugs included in Triglimisave 1 HS Plus Tablet SR. When one therapy or a combination of therapies is ineffective, they function through several ways to offer improved blood sugar management. A sulfonylurea known as Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by increasing the amount of insulin the pancreas releases. It is a biguanide, Metformin. It works by decreasing the amount of glucose the liver can make, lowering the rate at which glucose is absorbed by the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Pioglitazone, a thiazolidinedione, further increases insulin sensitivity.

Metformin, Glimepiride, and Pioglitazone are all included in Triglimisave 1 HS Plus Tablet SR. When single or dual therapy of hypoglycemic drugs is ineffective in treating diabetic patients, Triglimisave 1 HS Plus Tablet SR is prescribed. Metformin works by reducing intestinal glucose absorption and hepatic glucose synthesis. Glimepiride works by boosting the pancreas' production of insulin. Pioglitazone works by reducing the amount of glucose the liver releases and increasing the sensitivity of muscle and fat to insulin.
