The active drugs in Zerograin Plus New Tablet include naproxen and domperidone. Naproxen is both an anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) drug. It reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting the formation of prostaglandins, which are inflammatory mediators. Domperidone works by increasing gastric peristalsis (movements that empty the stomach). The easy passage of food through the stomach aids in the relief of nausea and vomiting. It inhibits the dopamine receptors found in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (which regulates nausea and vomiting).
