Cofol Z Capsule is a combination medication that belongs to the 'hematinic' class of pharmaceuticals, which are primarily used to prevent and cure low levels of folic acid, zinc, and iron in the blood during various health situations (e.g., anemia, pregnancy, reduced diet, surgical recovery). Anemia is a medical disorder in which the body has fewer red blood cells or hemoglobin than normal hemoglobin (an iron-rich protein that allows red blood cells to deliver more oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body).  The body requires extra zinc, iron, and folic acid during pregnancy, and a deficiency of these components causes anemia in either the mother or the infant.

Usage instructions-

  • Take the Cofol Z Capsule as directed by your doctor’s instructions.

How it works-

Iron, Zinc, and Folic acid are all included in the Cofol Z Capsule. These three ingredients are essential for the body's production of new blood cells. Iron is a mineral that is required by red blood cells to transport oxygen to other bodily cells and tissues. It aids in the attraction of oxygen in the lungs when combined with a protein called hemoglobin. The immunological (defense) system of the body requires zinc to operate properly. It aids in cell proliferation, division, glucose breakdown, wound healing, and iron metabolism. Folic acid is a B vitamin that helps the body produce more red blood cells and red blood cells transport more oxygenated blood to other areas.
