P 120 Suspension is used to treat a variety of pains in babies and children, including headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache and teething pains, sore throat, rheumatic aches and pains, and influenza. It also aids in the reduction of temperature. Its active component, paracetamol, inhibits the body's pain- and fever-producing mechanisms.
In order to reduce pain and edoema, prostaglandins, a substance produced by the body and known as paracetamol, are inhibited. It affects the hypothalamus heat-regulating centre, a region of the brain in charge of controlling our body temperature, which lowers fever.
